ROCKER PANELS
1. WHAT ARE FACTORY FLARES?
2. WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO DENOTE FACTORY FLARES FOR ROCKER PANELS?
The panels are cut shorter in order for the fit to be correct. If the vehicle has flares and you order a kit without noting flare, then the pieces near the wheel wells will be too long.
3. THE ROCKER PANELS I ORDERED DON’T FIT WHEN I GO TO APPLY THEM.
Make sure that you are applying them according to the fit code. Most applications will either be from the body side molding down or from the bottom of the door up. If you are unsure of the proper fit please contact Willmore Manufacturing’s technical department.
4. WHAT ARE THE FIT CODES AND WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?
The Rocker Panel fit codes are as follows:
A – Molding down
B - Bottom of door up
C - Between molding and door
SP – Special fit (call for assistance)
BL - Body line
T – Tapered
**NOTE: It is important that you follow the fit code for the application. Failure to do so can result in damaged pieces and the application will be useless.
5. HOW DO I INSTALL MY ROCKER PANELS?
Each set of Rocker Panels comes with a set of installation instructions. Follow the instructions step by step because failure to do so will automatically void the product warranty.
6. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO INSTALL MY ROCKER PANELS?
It takes an average of 45 minutes to one hour to properly install rocker panels. This includes the time it takes to properly clean off the surface area of the vehicle where the rocker panels will be applied, to dry fit the pieces and the actual installation of the application.
7. WHAT IS THE PROPER WAY TO CLEAN AND TAKE CARE OF MY ROCKER PANELS AFTER INSTALLATION?
Follow these 3 easy steps:
- Do NOT wash the vehicle for 72 hours after the product has been installed.
- Periodically clean the Rocker Panels with a stainless steel cleaner. This will deter water spots and discoloration.
- Keep Rocker Panels free of salt and other ice deterrents to ensure long lasting finish.

BED CAPS
1. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WITH STAKE POCKET HOLES AND WITHOUT?

3. WHAT IS THE INSTALLATION TIME FOR BED CAPS?

4. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “OVER O/E PLASTIC” AND “REPLACES THE O/E PLASTIC?”
On Bed Caps and Tailgate Protectors O/E refers to Original Equipment direct from the auto manufacturer. The O/E plastic is what is already on the bed cap. Some applications give the option of replacing the O/E plastic or going over the O/E plastic. Replacing as it suggests, requires you to remove the plastic before applying the application. Going over the O/E plastic is exactly that. The application is applied directly over the O/E plastic.
